YDC Launch Event - Press Club of San Francisco
An Evening of Wine Tasting, Food and Conversation
April 15, 2009 |

|
The San Francisco Press Club, featuring eight premium San Francisco Bay Area wineries, was the venue for the first event of the new Young Diplomats Club of San Francisco on April 15, 2009. It was extremely well attended - 150 career diplomats from 30 countries participated in this launch event.
The elegant evening at the Press Club was hosted and organized by Protocol Professionals, Inc., a company that has enjoyed a long-standing twenty-year relationship with the consular corps. “Russian Vice Consul Alexey Dobrynskiy and I were inspired by other famous world-class cities, such as London, who have organized activities for their young diplomats. It is our goal to provide a social and networking opportunity in a relaxed private setting in order for members to become better acquainted with one another,” remarked co-founder, Sherri Ferris.
